Another country commits to saving animals from cosmetics’ testing! by The Good Shopping Guide | Mar 5, 2015 | Ethical Shopping Blog | 0 comments Cruelty Free International’s global campaign to end animal testing for cosmetics has taken another significant step, with South Korea agreeing to set a date to phase out the use of animals to test cosmetics and the ingredients that go in them. This follows extensive negotiations by Cruelty Free International with Ministerial officials, the Food and Drug Administration and Parliamentarians, led by Rep. Jeong-Lim Moon, member of the Health and Welfare Committee, who will present the Bill to implement the proposals during March. If this goes ahead, Korea will be the second country in Asia to set out on the route to completely end animal testing for cosmetics. This is fantastic news. We encourage all of our readers to support Cruelty Free International and their campaign to end animal testing. Please sign their global petitions.
