The policy action will begin in spring 2018, with the main target to complete eliminate the use of foam cups by 2020. In their place, Dunkin’ Donuts will be support a greener option in drinking cup, namely a recyclable paper cup certified by the Sustainable Forestry Initiative Standard. The company has estimated that one billion foam cups will be taken out of the annual waste system, upon the completion of their new plans. Read more.
