ETA: Ethical Insurance & Breakdown Cover

by | Jul 17, 2019 | Ethical Accreditation

ETA is one of The Good Shopping Guide’s top-scoring Ethical Insurance providers and has received continuous independent Ethical Accreditation from The Ethical Company Organisation since 2007.

The company sees themselves as ‘Environmentalists who happen to sell insurance’.

The ETA was initially set up as a green breakdown service in the 1980s following new motorway proposals which were set to make a significant impact on the environment and were widely supported by breakdown companies such as the AA and RAC.  Today the company also offers insurance – covering bicycles, home and travel – with each policy supporting the ETA Trust, which campaigns for a safer, cleaner transport future.

The ETA encourages people to find greener ways to commute to work and inspire people to get back on bikes.  When you do have to use a car, the ETA has put together some invaluable Green Driving Tips.
