Festive, Ethical Home: Arena Flowers

by | Dec 10, 2020 | Ethical Accreditation

If you are looking to bring the joys of the season to your home – or someone else’s – look no further than ethical florist, Arena Flowers.  The company has been delivering bouquets across the UK for the last 14 years and in that time, has consistently ranked as one of The Good Shopping Guide’s top-scoring Flower Delivery brands.

Arena Flowers is committed to improving sustainability within the flower delivery sector, working exclusively with partners who share their commitment to improving the welfare and environment of the workers and communities they source from, including working directly with Fairtrade farms.

The company has removed single-use plastics from their products and are eradicating them from their supply chain – moving to organic and compostable materials.  In the last year, Arena Flowers has developed an organic linen to create an alternative to ribbon with which they will wrap all their bouquets.  They also have a tree planting plan where for every bouquet you buy, they plant a tree in countries experiencing deforestation, like Haiti, Mozambique and Madagascar, to restore and grow healthy forests, combat climate change and simultaneously help to alleviate extreme poverty in some of the world’s poorest communities.

This Christmas, for every Christmas tree you buy they will plant 100 trees and for every bouquet sold they will plant 12 trees instead of the usual 1!

Arena Flowers has been awarded independent Ethical Accreditation from The Ethical Company Organisation for 14 consecutive years – verification of the company’s ethical status.
