IKEA partners with Big Clean Switch to offer 100% renewable energy tariff by The Good Shopping Guide | Feb 27, 2018 | Ethical Shopping Blog | 0 comments Furniture retailer, IKEA, has agreed a joint venture with Big Clean Switch. As part of the joint venture, the retailer will offer UK customers access to renewable energy at the lowest available prices. Both IKEA and Big Clean Switch claim that their programme can save UK households £300 a year. The idea is that, in joining the Big Clean Switch initiative, the retailer will help campaign and support a collective energy switch, which will promise an exclusive 100% renewable electricity tariff. As IKEA campaigns to get more households signed up, Big Clean Switch will then negotiate the best deal it can with green suppliers. For those interested in possibly switching as part of the scheme, you can find more information at bigcleanswitch.org/ikea.
