Just Eat to support green transition for restaurant partners by The Good Shopping Guide | Apr 18, 2018 | Ethical Shopping Blog | 0 comments The popular food delivery service and app, Just Eat, is set to offer discounts for low-carbon vehicles and renewable energy contracts. Approximately 28,500 of the company’s restaurant partners could benefit from the initiative, in a push to reduce emissions across the UK. These company offers have been made possible thanks to an agreement between Just Eat and Make it Cheaper in addition to Squeaky Clean Energy. They have also confirmed a partnership with Eskuta, an e-bike manufacturer. The result is a 45% discount on e-bikes for food delivery providers, meaning the vehicles will be available from £795 (excluding VAT). This is a notable reduction compared to the standard retail price of £1,440 (excluding VAT). Learn more.
