2014 has so far been the year of the climate report. Following the landmark Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) report and “What We Know” by American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), The National Climate Assessment (NCA) – a 1,300-page report compiled by 300 leading scientists and experts – has also just been released, providing a comprehensive review of climate change and impacts on the United States.

“Climate change, once considered an issue for a distant future, has moved firmly into the present,” a draft version of the report states. From the top of the atmosphere to the bottom of the ocean, the evidence is visible everywhere the report concludes. (For more on the report, please see:

As a conscious consumer there are practical ways you can take action.
