Waitrose has announced that they aim to remove disposable coffee cups from stores by autumn 2018.

According to the BBC, the plan will begin from 30 April. However, a full rollout of the policy is not expected until later in the year. An estimated 52 million cups will be spared annually.

It follows that myWaitrose members will need to bring their own reusable cups, should they wish to take advantage of the free tea or coffee option.
