Ecotricity is an energy supplier with a mission to end the use of fossil fuels. The company uses wind and sun mills which it has built all over the UK in  order to produce entirely green electricity. Ecotricity was founded in 1995 as the world’s first green energy company and is now forging the future of sustainable gas, using gasmills fed by grass cuttings.

Ecotricity performs well for its Environmental Report as it has a clear target to be zero carbon by 2025, and has constructed several renewable power stations across the country.

Ecotricity also gets a top score for its Energy Mix which is 100% renewable, and Nuclear Power as it has no involvement in this industry, and 0% nuclear fuel.
