How ethical is Gigaclear?

Gigaclear, a broadband provider, is one of The Good Shopping Guide’s top-rated ethical brands. The brand receives an excellent Good Shopping Guide ethical score in our Ethical Broadband Providers Ratings Table and therefore passes our Ethical Benchmark as a good ethical brand. We encourage other companies in the Broadband sector to follow Gigaclear’s example and adopt more ethical policies and practices.

What does Gigaclear do?

Since 2010, when the brand was founded. Gigaclear has been using its platform to bring broadband to poorly-served, rural communities. The brand found that people living in these areas are unable to take advantage of all the social, educational, and economic benefits that full fibre is already delivering in other areas. The brand’s network is currently stretching across more than 22 counties in the South West, the Midlands and the South East.

Gigaclear was marked up under our criteria for the majority of the categories we assess including Animal Welfare, a Timber Sourcing Policy, Fossil Fuels, and Nuclear Power to name a few.
