What does Tefal do?
Tefal was founded in 1956 when Marc Gregoire took his wife’s advice and coated her pans with Teflon, they found that this worked astoundingly and began the production of non-stick frying pans as a way to revolutionise the way people cooked. Tefal is sold in more than 120 countries worldwide and produces a large range of cookware including Kettles, pressure cookers, scales and even branching out into homeware such as Irons. The cookware brand is owned by Groupe SEB.

Tefal performs well in many areas of business. Tefal has a strong responsible purchasing charter which is strong and specifies a maximum of 60 working hours and a minimum of 15 years old to work. The kettle brands Environmental Report earned the brand a top rating as Groupe SE, the brands parent company, released a sustainable development strategy which outlines goals in areas such as recycling, repairability, carbon emissions and packaging. Tefal also received a high score for Political Donations, Armaments, Human Rights concerns, Animal Welfare, Fossil Fuels and Nuclear Power as the brand received no criticism in any of these areas.
