Ethical Supplements: Viridian Nutrition

by | Dec 6, 2019 | Ethical Accreditation

Viridian Nutrition has been re-awarded independent Ethical Accreditation from The Ethical Company Organisation for the 3rd successive year.  Since the company’s launch in 1999, Viridian Nutrition has been dedicated to supply chain clarity and transparency and was the first vitamin company in the world to be Certified Palm Oil Free (CPOF) in 2018.  Other certifications include Soil Association for organics and The Vegan Society for animal rights.

The company has more than 300 award-winning supplements and is committed to the use of 100% active ingredients – they use slow manufacture to created pure capsules, powders and liquids avoiding all nasty manufacturing aids.

Viridian has always had strict environmental policies, including a recycling programme for its glass packaging.  This year, the company started reducing packaging on their individual supplements, resulting in a 12.5 tonne reduction in total packaging weight in 2019.
