Multinational food giant, Kellogg’s, has pledged to source all of its electricity from renewable sources. The Kellogg Company is one of a number to have joined the RE100 – a global initiative supported by some of the largest global companies that aims to support 100 percent renewable power targets.

In 2017, the company has already shifted about 20% of global energy purchase to renewable sources.

As reported by edie.net, Kellogg’s has set a plan to reach a 100% renewable energy target by 2050, further substantiating previous commitments to science-based targets in the form of a 65% reduction in emissions by 2050.
