Additionally, the company has announced its commitment to delivering on science-based emissions targets, in another moment of success for ethical business and consumer initiatives. Aligned with the Science-Based Targets initiative, which partnered with and supported by UN Global Compact, CDP, World Resources Institute and WWF – Target is beginning to show real leadership when it comes to transitioning to a low carbon economy. The commitment to renewable energy is part of the company’s broader climate policy, which includes reducing emissions from its facilities by 25% by 2025.
