Following last week’s update to the ethical index rankings for UK furniture brands, we are delighted to announce that Myakka has re-attained Ethical Accreditation.

In our updated rankings, Myakka continued to rank top for ethics with a perfect 100 ECI. This means that Myakka is celebrating its fifth year of a perfect score in our research.

A clear ethical leader in the UK furniture market, this news comes at a perfect time as the brand just released its autumn range (a sample pictured above). They are also currently offering 33% off selected pine furniture – you can find the sale on their website.

At the time of this announcement it is also Myakka’s 18th year of business – it started with a basic business premise of trading with people as they like to be dealt with themselves and keeping our environmental footprint as small as possible. Now Myakka – a member of BAFTS (British Association for Fair Trade Shops & Suppliers) – is a leading ethical brand, selling fairtrade furniture and accessories, which can be found online or at their warehouse outlet in Wincanton, UK.
