Anheuser-Busch InBev, the world’s largest brewer, has announced that it will take a number of steps in the fight against climate change.

The big news follows the company’s announcement that it will aim to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by a quarter by 2025. Additionally, the Belgium-based brewer outlined a number of other policies, including packaging. It said that all packaging will be made returnable or produced primarily from recycled materials by 2025.

As part of the announcement, commitment to renewable energy sourcing was also highlighting, confirming that the company is on track to meet previous targets set in 2017. The endgame goal is to source all electricity from renewable sources by 2025.

Also featured in their latest policy announcements is action to cut water usage and to support farmers with disruptions to water supplies caused by global warming.
