How ethical is Gallo?

Gallo  is a brand of pasta and grains which has a good score on The Good Shopping Guide’s Ethical Pasta, Pulses & Rice Ratings Table.

With a high GSG score, Gallo can be considered an ethical brand. Gallo hasn’t yet applied for Ethical Accreditation, but its high score would mean that if it did, it would be able to display The Good Shopping Guide’s Ethical Mark on its products.

What does Gallo do?

Gallo (Riso Gallo) began in 1856 when founder Giobatta Preve started moving grains between Argentina and Italy, it is one of the oldest rice-growing companies in Italy.
