How ethical is 7Up?

What does 7Up do?

7Up is an American brand of carbonated soft drink which was launched in 1920 by The Howdy Corporation and originally contained lithium citrate, a mood stabilising drug, which was removed in 1948. 7Up is owned by PepsiCo internationally.

In which areas does 7Up perform poorly?

7Up was marked down under our criteria for GM as its parent company, PepsiCo Inc., states that it believes GMOs are safe to use. 7Up also receives a bottom score for Political Donations, as PepsiCo donated above our threshold in recent election cycles. 7Up’s parent company, PepsiCo, came under fire recently for allegedly buying palm oil from unethical and harmful sources.
