What does Bio D do?

Bio D was created in 1989 by Michael Barwell who wanted to find naturally derived alternatives. The brand is proud to be B Corp certified producing 100% cruelty free and Vegan products. Not only does the brand sell eco-friendly washing up liquid it also sells a range of toilet cleaners, hand soap, bathroom cleaner and laundry liquid.

In what areas does Bio D perform well? 

Bio D performs well in many areas of business. The brands sustainability report discusses industry issues such as energy consumption, waste and water with concrete goals on packaging and more vague goals on Carbon emissions, for a small company it sets out lots of goals and provides a strong amount of detail. In regards to Toxic chemicals the brands ‘What we leave out’ page states no usage of Phthalates, Triclosan and formaldehyde as well as no usage of Parabens. As well as receiving high scores in Armaments, Political Donations, Nuclear Powers and Fossil Fuels the brand is also CFI registered and a part of The vegan Society.
