Dyson is given a middle rating for Human Rights, as a group of migrant workers at one of its factories in Malaysia recently launched legal claims against Dyson including allegations of forced labour. Find out more about how we rate by exploring our ethical criteria.

In which areas does Dyson score well for its ethics?

We found no criticisms of Dyson relating to; Nuclear Power, Fossil Fuels, Animal Welfare, Armaments or Political Donations, so it scores well for these criteria.

How can Dyson improve its ethical rating?

The below-benchmark score that Dyson is awarded is the result of an evaluation of multiple ethical criteria. To reach our minimum benchmark score and qualify for Ethical Accreditation, Dyson has some issues to resolve including its lack of a public Code of Conduct.
