M+E

Is M+E an ethical vitamin and supplement brand?

M+E, otherwise known as Montgomery + Evelyn is a British supplement brand which focuses on mental wellness.

Unfortunately, M+E does not yet reach The Good Shopping Guide’s minimum ethical benchmark on the Vitamins & Supplements Ethical Ratings Table.  As a result, M+E cannot yet be classed as an ethical brand.

However, despite not yet meeting our minimum benchmark, The Good Shopping Guide still encourage M+E to get in touch and apply for Ethical Accreditation. After receiving its application, The Good Shopping Guide will offer M+E an assessment and some advice on how to improve its bottom ratings.

What does M+E receive a top rating for?

Despite not having a statement, M+E receives a top rating for our Genetic Modification category as it has no negative criticisms. It also receives a top score for Armaments and Nuclear Power for its lack of negative criticisms.

Does M+E have an Environmental Report?

M+E has an ‘Eco Promise’ page which mentions FSC certification for its packaging. For every box it sells, M+E donates to the Vitamin Angels charity which provides vitamins to mothers and children at risk of malnutrition from around the globe.

As it only provides some information on sustainability, M+E receives a middle rating for this category.

What can M+E do to improve its score?

M+E’ below benchmark score within The Good Shopping Guide’s Ethical Vitamins & Supplements Sector is the outcome of an evaluation of multiple ethical criteria.

Despite currently having a below-benchmark score in the Ethical Vitamins & Supplements Sector, we still recommend that M+E get in touch and apply for Ethical Accreditation.
