By 2023, over 95% of all Monsoon cotton will be organic, recycled or from a sustainable source, the brand promises.
Monsoon manufactures garments using recycled materials such as polyester, which is created from PET plastic bottles that are shaped into yarn strings and then dyed before being woven to produce a soft-touch texture. The brand also uses LENZING ECOVERO viscose, which is produced in an eco-friendly manner utilising sustainable, certified renewable wood sources. It contributes to a cleaner environment by producing up to 50% fewer emissions and using less water than conventional viscose. It has earned the EU Ecolabel, demonstrating that it regularly upholds high environmental standards across all phases of manufacturing.
