Ethical Pet Care: HOWND

by | Sep 17, 2019 | Ethical Accreditation

HOWND is a company specialising in cruelty free, ethical pet care products – which include dog grooming products, treats and dog bowls.

The company first attained independent Ethical Accreditation in 2017, reflecting their commitment to environmental and animal welfare issues – which is also reflected by Leaping Bunny certification from Cruelty Free International.

HOWND launched with a range of dog grooming products, which are all free from harsh chemicals, parabens, soaps and dyes.  Then came their range of Hemp Wellness Treats, containing ethically sourced, local ingredients which are 100% natural, hypoallergenic, gluten free, human grade and vegetarian.

More recently, the company launched the HERO Bowl, which has silver Iron technology in-built which reduces 99% of microbes such as MRSA and protects from bacteria, mould and fungi – perfect for raw feeding which is becoming commonplace.
