What does Beyond Meat do?

Beyond Meat is an American plant-based food brand which was founded by Ethan Brown in 2009 in an effort to combat climate change caused by meat farming. The range started with chicken free strips and now includes numerous chicken, beef and pork substitute products.

In which areas does Beyond Meat perform poorly?

Beyond Meat was marked down under our criteria for Organic due to a lack of certification. It is given a middle rating for its Environmental Report as its ‘Our Mission’ page does not include much information on the brand’s environmental commitments.
