Does Candy have an Environmental Report?

Candy is given a middle rating in The Good Shopping Guide’s Environmental Report category.

Candy’s parent company Haier Group, has an ESG Report which contains targets in various areas such as carbon emissions and recycling. However, the carbon emissions targets mentioned in the report are no longer relevant as they are out of date.

Why does Candy have a bottom rating for its Code of Conduct?

Haier Group’s ESG report briefly mentions child labour and human rights. However, it lacks sufficient detail and no official Code of Conduct could be found.

As a result, it receives a bottom rating.

What can Candy do to improve its score?

Candy’s below benchmark score within The Good Shopping Guide’s Ethical Fridges and Freezers sector is the outcome of an evaluation of multiple ethical criteria.
