Coffee#1 is a chain of coffee shops that was founded in Cardiff, Wales in 2001 and is now owned by Caffè Nero.

In which areas does Coffee#1 perform poorly?

Coffee#1 was marked down under our criteria for its Environmental Report, as although it does have an ‘Ethics and Values’ page, this is very basic and does not contain the number of targets we would expect for such a large company.

It was also marked down for our Organic and Fair Trade criteria as it lacks any certification for either of these. It receives a middle rating for GM as it does not have a statement regarding their use.
