DAME is a brand of period products which has a good score on The GOOD Shopping Guide’s Ethical Period Products Ratings Table.

What does DAME do?

DAME was founded to provide sustainable period products and to increase accessibility to better menstrual education and resources. DAME created the first reusable tampon applicator, and now also makes a reusable pad with a dry bag designed by Finisterre.

In which areas does DAME perform well?

DAME gets a top score for its Environmental Report as the company’s sustainability commitments are clearly outline on the DAME website. It also gets a top score for Genetic Modification and Organic as it sells GOTS-certified organic tampons.

Since its products are certified by The Vegan Society and free from animal testing, DAME is awarded a top rating in the Animal Welfare and Vegetarian/vegan categories.
