In which areas does Leyland perform poorly?

Leyland is given a bottom rating for our Nuclear Power and Fossil Fuels criteria as PPG Industries provides products to these industries. It also gets a bottom score for Animal Welfare as it does test on animals ‘when required by law’ and a middle rating for Armaments as PPG produces coatings used in the aerospace military. Find out more about how we rate by exploring our ethical criteria.

In which areas does Leyland score well for its ethics?

Leyland gets a top score for its Environmental Report as parent company, PPG Industries, has an ESG Report 2021 with targets and evidence of progress.

How can Leyland improve its ethical rating?

The below-benchmark score that Leyland is awarded is the result of an evaluation of multiple ethical criteria. To reach our minimum benchmark score and qualify for Ethical Accreditation, Leyland has some issues to resolve including its use of Animal Testing.
