What does Mug Shot do?

Mug Shot is a brand owned by Symingtons which produces a range of food on the go. The brand offers Pasta, noodles and soups in a range of different flavours such as tomato & herb, original curry and chicken & mushroom. Mug Shot is offered in either sachet form, pots or mighty pots.

For which criteria does Mug Shot perform poorly?

Mug Shot received a low rating for its Environmental Report as parent company Symingtons has an extremely basic Sustainability page that only briefly mentions environmental initiatives. For a large company the environmental information provided is not good enough and we encourage this compare to do more to demonstrate its commitment to being a sustainable company.

Mug Shots are also not Organic, resulting in a bottom rating in this category as well.

In what areas does Mug Shot score well for its ethics?

Mug Shot receives a high score for its Genetic Modification Policy as it is stated that Symington does not purchase or use any Genetically Modified Ingredients.

How can Mug Shot improve its ethical rating?

The Ethical rating of a brand is divided into three categories by The Good Shopping Guide: the Environment, People and Animals. Find out more about how we rate.

Mug Shot may improve its rating and fulfil our fundamental ethical requirements by releasing a strong Environmental report detailing evidence of progress and detailed targets.
