How ethical and sustainable is Nimble?

Nimble is included in The Good Shopping Guide’s Cleaning Product Ethical Ratings Table. Nimble has yet to meet our ethical standards, but we believe that in the future, the brand will make the necessary changes to function as a more ethical organisation. Nimble might increase consumer trust by applying for Ethical Accreditation, which would include a more complete examination and suggestions for ethical development.

More information on the best eco friendly Cleaning Products can be found in The Good Shopping Guide to Ethical Cleaning Products.  Then, in our Cleaning Products Ethical Ratings Table compare it to other brands.

What does Nimble do?

Chemist Von Sy developed Nimble Babies in 2015 with the goal of developing a solution for cleaning baby bottles. Products from Nimble Babies are now available online and in over 900 locations throughout the UK. Along with bottle washing, surface cleaning, and hand sanitizer spray, Nimble also sells laundry products that make the claim to be baby-safe.

For which criteria does Nimble perform poorly?

Since there was no data on chemical usage, Nimble’s Toxic Chemicals Policy obtained a low score. The brand’s “About Us” page highlights vegan and cruelty-free items, but the company makes no mention of its environmental commitments or emphasises sustainability as a value, earning Nimble a middling score for its environmental report.

In what areas does Nimble score well for its ethics?

As all of Nimble’s products are Vegan Society certified and cruelty-free, the company earns a great rating. All of our Animal and People categories give it good marks, and there are no Public Record criticisms.

How can Nimble improve its ethical rating?

The Ethical rating of a brand is divided into three categories by The Good Shopping Guide: the Environment, People and Animals. Find out more about how we rate.

Nimble might apply for Ethical Accreditation for more detailed guidance on how to improve.

By publishing a policy on the use of toxic chemicals as well as a thorough environmental report with goals, Nimble may raise its grade and satisfy our essential ethical requirements.
