Planted, a sustainable skincare brand specialising in plant-based products is one of The Good Shopping Guide’s top-rated ethical brands.

Planted performs well across a range of ethical criteria within our Skincare assessment. 

Planted receives a top rating for Animal Welfare, as the brand opposes the use of animal testing on its products and ingredients.

Planted was established to provide 100% natural and bioavailable skincare, sustainably handmade in small, fresh batches and formulated to suit all skin types, ages, and genders.

The brand favours ingredients that are recognisable, minimally processed, and have been used for thousands of years in Ayurvedic or other traditional practices.   

Sustainability is at the core of the Planted ethos, so all its packaging is fully recyclable. Additionally, Planted’s manufacturing process is plastic free and it sources ingredients locally where possible.

How did Planted attain Ethical Accreditation? 

Planted has attained Ethical Accreditation from The Good Shopping Guide. This involved an application process and a full review of the brand’s ethical policies and practices. Planted is subject to an annual review to ensure the company maintains high ethical standards.

As a result, Planted is permitted to use our Good Shopping Guide Ethical logo, which certifies the brand’s ethical status and allows consumers to recognise Planted as an ethical brand.
