In landmark news, Jaguar Land Rover, one of the world’s largest car makers, has announced that it will stop the production of petrol or diesel cars. From 2020, the UK based manufacturer will focus on fully on the production of electric and hybrid vehicles.

As reported in the Guardian, “the plan comes after the Scottish government said it would phase out the need for petrol and diesel cars by 2032, eight years earlier than the UK and French targets of banning sales of new cars with internal combustion engines”.
