Natural, Ethical Yoga Mats: ecoYoga

by | Aug 5, 2019 | Ethical Accreditation

ecoYoga has been re-awarded independent Ethical Accreditation for the 4th successive year.

ecoYoga has been making natural, jute yoga mats in the UK since 2003.

Unlike many yoga mats which contain PVC, ecoYoga mats are made from entirely natural plant-based materials: 100% natural rubber and hessian. The rubber compound is environmentally neutral so, at the end of the yoga mats life, it can be composted and or safely used in the garden – making them completely eco-friendly.

The company aims to reduce packaging and to use recycled or sustainable materials in all their products and take great care to consider where their materials are sourced.

ecoYoga mats can be purchased directly from the ecoYoga website and are stocked in a number of yoga studios and shops worldwide.
